Ed Gant - Landscape Architect
People | Place | Planet
Gant Landscape Architects create & shape places for the benefit of people and the planet.
We’re a design lead practice offering nature-based solutions to environmental issues. From our studio in Nailsworth, we offer landscape design services with a focus on sustainability and biodiversity enhancement. We aim to connect people with the natural world through our work, across a variety of different project scales and sectors, from private gardens to farm diversification & commercial residential development.
Ed Gant is a chartered landscape architect with 10 years of industry experience. He is passionate about integrating green infrastructure into the built environment and engaging people with landscape and nature. He moved to Minchinhampton in 2021 and formed Gant Landscape Architects with Abi Gant.
Ed believes design narrative and clarity of communication is key to engaging clients, stakeholders and end-users to deliver successful schemes with a strong sense of place.
After graduating from the University of Lancaster in 2006, Ed spent 4 years in the financial services industry, working in The City of London. Whilst this wasn’t his calling, he gained valuable experience in business development and client management, before deciding to retrain as a landscape architect at Greenwich University, graduating in 2013. He has 10 years of industry experience working for both design lead studios as well as large multi-disciplinary practices.
